(VOVworld) – The Russian Mosfilm Week 2015 themed “Venue for Russian films’ lovers” began in Hanoi on Thursday to introduce Vietnamese audiences to the best of Russian cinematography. The film week is part of activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Russia. The films to be screened include two war films – “On the Road to Berlin” and “White tiger” – one comedy called “Girl prisoner of the Caucasus”, and a drama called “Ward number 6”. Ms. Ngo Phuong Lan is Head of the Vietnamese Cinematography Department: “Russian cinematography has had a special place in Vietnamese hearts for more than half of a century. For Vietnamese film makers, Russian cinematography is a teacher and a friend who has given inspiration and invaluable knowledge. The annual Russian Film Week is a must-see for Russian cinematography lovers.”

The event will run until September 23 in Hanoi and Da Nang. All films will be screened with Vietnamese subtitles.
