(VOVworld) – The Russian Ministry of Defense said that Russian aircraft have attacked IS positions in Syria. In total, 64 sorties targeted 63 Islamic State installations, including 53 fortified zones, 7 arms depots, 4 training camps, and a command post.
The Russian air force began its air strikes on IS on September 30th after Russia’s Federation Council approved a Syrian request. Russia claimed its air strikes have panicked the IS. The Russian Ministry of Defense said IS is running out of ammunition and starting to withdraw.
