Russian October Revolution: driving force for revolutionary spirit of progressive people
(VOVWORLD) -The Academy of Journalism and Communications held a workshop in Hanoi on Wednesday to reflect on the historical values of the Russian October Revolution ahead of its 100th anniversary next month.

Speaking in the event, Prof. Dr. Vu Van Hien, Vice Chairman of the Party’s Central Theory Council, said the revolution awoke suppressed peoples and shed light on the path towards socialism. He said that the success of the revolution confirmed the scientific nature of Marxism Leninism and provided valuable lessons for the revolution on national liberation and socialism. Mr. Hien added “The October Revolution is for peace and world development. After the success of the revolution, Lenin called for peace and international cooperation for friendship. This enlightened Vietnam’s active international integration while nurturing national identity, independence and self-determination in national development orientation.”
