(VOVWORLD) - he Sa Huynh Cultural Relic Site in Duc Pho township, Quang Ngai province, earned a special national status recognition at a ceremony on Friday.

Quang Ngai is seen as the cradle of the Sa Huynh Culture dating back about 3,000 years ago. The site contains cultural and historical values and has beautiful natural landscapes.
Tran Hoang Tuan, Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai provincial People's Committee, said: “The province is helping Duc Pho township revitalize and develop craft villages and traditional cultural activities from the Sa Huynh period to promote green tourism, community tourism, and rural tourism. We’ll also develop Ly Son island in to a national sea and island tourism hub, connecting with other tourist sites to form an attractive tourism route.”
