(VOVworld) - Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health reported two new MERS cases on Monday, bringing the total number of cases to 700 including 287 facilities since the disease was first reported in 2012.
The same day, 2 MERS cases were reported cured in Riyadh and Al-Qunfudhah, bringing the total of number of patients cured to 361. Despite the threat of being infection by the MERS virus, Muslims are pouring into Mecca and Mediana in Saudi Arabia. Hundreds of thousands of Musilims are expected to gather there when the Muslim holy month of Ramadan begins on June 28.
