Ambassador Awad Assiri said the embassy sent a text message to Saudis in Lebanon, advising them to leave for their safety, considering the danger of the situation.
The warning came 2 days after a series of suicide bombings killed 24 people near Iran’s embassy in Beirut, the stronghold of the Hezbollah movement, a powerful ally of Iran.
