(VOVWORLD) - The Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister has warned criticism of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is a "red line" in the investigation of the killing of Jamal Khashoggi.

Adel al-Jubeir said in an interview on the BBC that the Crown and the King represent every Saudi citizen and every Saudi citizen represents them.
The leadership is a red line in Saudi Arabia and they will not tolerate any discussion of anything that is disparaging towards their monarch or the crown prince. Jubeir said they have investigations ongoing and they will punish the individuals who are responsible for this.
He called on Turkey to come forward with all its evidence about the slaying and stop leaking out information. The foreign minister also said any possible US sanctions on Saudi Arabia would be short-sighted.
