(VOVworld) - 120 disadvantaged children in Thai Nguyen province received scholarships on Thursday under the “Together with you to school” program.

Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan, Chairwoman of the National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFVC), delivered the scholarships, worth 140 USD each, to the children. The scholarships encourage the children to overcome their difficulty and support their parents, who are defending national maritime sovereignty.

The fund was established to mobilize donations from organizations and individuals to support children living in difficult circumstances.
