(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung ordered the construction of an express way connecting Thai Nguyen province with Cho Moi district in Bac Kan province on Sunday.

The BOT project has an investment capital of 2.7 trillion dong and aims to ease congestion in National Highway No 3 while establishing an express way network in northern mountainous provinces and Hanoi. Speaking at the ground breaking ceremony, the Prime Minister praised the importance of road infrastructure to promote stable and rapid economic growth. He called for local government’s correct application of land acquisition policy to ensure stable life for resettlers while ensuring the work progress of the construction within 18 months.
