(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan held a working session on Tuesday with the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology on Vietnam’s policy on science and technology.

He asked the Academy to continue to be involved in training and human resource development and look for breakthroughs in scientific research. He also asked the Ministry of Science and Technology to work with other relevant ministries on preferential policies for qualified personnel and scientists. Nhan said that the Academy should devise a personnel training program for the next 5 or 10 years to further Vietnam’s science and technology.
