(VOVWORLD) - Syria has shot down a drone in the southern province of Quneitra, making it the 2nd drone being taken down in 48 hours, Syrian news agency SANA reported on Saturday.

The drone, whose origin was unclarified, was loaded with C4 explosive, the agency said. The Syrian air defense on Thursday shot down another unknown drone in Aqraba village in southeastern Damascus. More Syrian troops have been deployed in southern regions, close to the border with the Golan Heights, which is under Israel's control.
