(VOVworld) – Most European countries are bolstering or reviewing their security measures in the wake of the terror attacks in Paris. The governments of many countries convened emergency meetings on Saturday.

Britain has tightened security at airports and warned that flights to Paris will possibly delay for careful security checks.
Spain is considering raising the terror threat level to the highest level. Earlier Spain lifted the alert level from third to fourth following a series of attacks in Kuwait, France, and Tunisia in June.
Russia's Anti-Terrorist Committee said necessary measures are being taken "in light of the new threats." "The entire national security network has been put on high alert," the Committee said in a statement.
Belgium and Poland have strengthened security control along the border with France and called on people to be highly vigilant over taking part in major events scheduled for later this week.
The Netherlands has tightened security at its borders, airports, and railway stations, with all traffic to and from France to be closely monitored.
Germany, Italy, and Sweden have convened emergency meetings of the governments and securities committees to discuss the situation in France. Switzerland’s police have consolidated security outside French diplomatic buildings and at the border with France.
