(VOVworld) - The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee held a seminar in Can Tho City on Tuesday to discuss measures to promote the role models in upholding national unity from minority groups in the southwestern region.

President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan spoke highly of localities’ efforts to adopt effective policies and help local people contribute to their localities. Mr. Nhan said: “I hope that with lessons on uniting ethnic minority people learned at this seminar, the role models will continue bringing into play their role and contribute to enhancing national unity, especially in ethnic minority groups”.
