(VOVworld) – Vietnamese ambassador to Algeria and Senegal Vu The Hiep has presented his credentials to Senegal’s leaders. During a visit there, ambassador Hiep held talks with Senegal’s Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Energy and the Head of the Office of the Ministry of Industry and Mines. The Senegalese officials praised the traditional friendship between the two countries and hoped to boost cooperation with Vietnam in economics and trade. Ambassador Hiep also met with representatives of the Vietnamese community in Senegal. He briefed them on the situation in Vietnam and urged them to further contribute to the friendship between the two countries.
