Senior Party official visits India

(VOVWORLD) - A delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam led by Nguyen Xuan Thang, President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, concluded their three-day working visit to India on Wednesday.

The delegation paid a courtesy call to India’s Vice President and Chairman of the Senate Jagdeep Dhankhar and worked with General Secretary of the ruling BJP Tarun Chughand General Secretary of the Communist Party of India Doraisamy Raja.
They laid flowers at the Ho Chi Minh Monument and visited the Vietnamese Embassy.
During the meetings, the two sides discussed global and regional issues of mutual concern, major orientations to deepen the Vietnam-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, defense and security cooperation, and a number of other matters.
