Significance of 1968 General Uprising highlighted
(VOVWORLD) - A seminar was held in Hanoi on Friday to mark 50 years of the Mau Than 1968 General Offensive and Uprising.

The seminar clarified the correct direction and leadership of the Party Central Committee and the Politburo in conducting the General Offensive and Uprising.
It also affirmed the historic significance of the General Offensive, its reasons and lessons and honored the great sacrifice and contributions of soldiers nationwide who fought in southern battlefields.
