Son La opens exhibition on Vietnam sea, islands
(VOVWORLD) - An exhibition themed “Son La joins efforts to protect the fatherland’s border, sea, and island sovereignty” opened in Son La province on Wednesday by the Navy’s Political Department and provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

The 200 exhibited photos and documents feature the importance of the sea and islands to national construction and defense. Vi Thi Son, a local visitor, said: “Through the exhibition, I love and understand the national islands and sea more, and feel more sympathetic to naval soldiers for their hardship. As a Youth Union member, I am more aware of my responsibility to protecting our fatherland.”
