Beijing and Seoul will open a 24-hour hotline for urgent policy consultations on North Korea. South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Y agreed to work together to persuade Pyongyang to refrain from further provocations after its missile launch last December and its nuclear test in February. Wang Y called on both Koreas and other parties to keep calm and take positive steps to resume negotiations.
