South Korea not to reverse THAAD decision with US
(VOVWORLD) - South Korean President Moon Jae-in reassured visiting US Senator Dick Durbin on Wednesday that his call for a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) probe will not undermine the current deployment.

According to the President’s spokesperson, Moon said he does not mean to change any existing agreements, adding that, while he does not take those agreements lightly, an environmental impact assessment should be completed.
The South Korean president ordered a special investigation over information that four additional units of the US Army's THAAD system had been delivered to South Korea. The Pentagon said it has been "very transparent" with the South Korean government about the THAAD deployment.
