(VOVworld) – People in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province, are being delighted at the ongoing South Korean culture days, featuring a paper Hanbok fashion show and Korean contemporary art performances on Saturday and Sunday nights.

At the opening ceremony on Saturday, South Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Lee Hyuk praised the bilateral long-lasting relations which are expanded in economics and culture. He also applauded Hoi An’s hospitality, which attracts a large number of South Korean visitors each year.

According to Nguyen Van Son, Vice Chairman of Hoi An city’s People’s Committee, the city has recently welcomed an increasing number of South Korean tourists. Son said: “Quang Nam and South Korean authorities have designed a wide range of activities for this event, which include Hoi An lantern parade, South Korean traditional and contemporary arts, and an exhibition of Korean handicraft products.”
