(VOVworld)- South Korea’s President Park Geun Hye on Thursday arrived in Beijing to hold talks with Chinese leaders on bilateral ties and the major global issues of mutual concern. Her 4-day state visit to China is the first of its kind since Park took office in February. She will meet with Chinese President, Premier, and Chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee.

South Korean-Chinese diplomatic ties were established in 1992 and have been growing steadily particularly in economic areas. China is currently South Korea’s biggest trade partner in the region.
