This round of talks will try to resolve pending issues in the peace deal signed on August 5. All South Sudanese factions are taking part in these talks, which will end on Sunday.
South Sudan’s Information Minister, Michael Lueth, said the issues to be discussed include the power of the president and vice presidents, representation in the judicial authority, reorganization of South Sudan’s administrative division, and the naming of new ministries.
