(VOVworld) – A conference to implement Directive 03 issued by the Politburo to promote studying and following the moral example set by President Ho Chi Minh took place Friday in the southern city of Can Tho. The meeting, chaired by Dinh The Huynh, Politburo member and Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education, reviewed the implementation of Directive 03 over the past year, and plans for this year.

According to the authorities in southern provinces and cities, despite initial problems, the movement to study and follow the moral example of President Ho Chi Minh has been expanded from Party members to local communities. Nguyen Manh Hung, Vice Secretary of Binh Thuan’s provincial Party Committee, said: "After the directive was implemented the people’s sense of social responsibility seems to improve. People have become more aware of keeping a revolutionary morality and work standards have gradually improved".
