The program consists of three parts: Fatherland resistance, Soldier's epic, and Proud melody. It paid tribute to heroes, wounded and sick soldiers, young volunteers and people with meritorious services to the revolution, arousing pride and responsibility for taking care of those who render great services to the nation.
Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha in Long Bien district and Nguyen Thu Trang in Hai Ba Trung district told VOV:
"During these days of the year we are remembering the gratitude of those who have sacrificed for the country and contributed to the successful revolution. The old songs are so heroic that every time I listen to them, I get emotional. I am a child of a soldier, so I feel the program is very heartwarming."
"This is the first time I've watched it live. I really like programs about soldiers or war scenes in the past with the heroic atmosphere and the great sacrifice of the previous generation for us to have peace today. I have to try harder in my studies to make a small contribution to national construction."
