(VOVworld) – A special program entitled “Following President Ho Chi Minh’s Footsteps” has been held to mark President Ho’s 125^th birth anniversary.

 The event was co-organized by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association and the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association.  In this program, participants will make a journey to places in Laos and Thailand where President Ho used to live and conducted his revolutionary activities. The program shows close solidarity and friendship between Vietnam, Laos and Thailand.
Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations Nguyen Thi Hoang Van said the program teaches about President Ho Chi Minh better than any book: "The trip has great educational significance and needs to be replicated to enhance the public understanding about President Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary career. It also deepens the friendship between Vietnam and neighboring countries"
