Sri Lanka looks for increased cooperation in justice with Vietnam

(VOVworld) – Prime minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Tuesday received Sri Lanka’s Minister of Justice Rauff Hakeem in Hanoi. The Vietnamese government leader said Vietnam and Sri Lanka should exert greater efforts to boost bilateral multifaceted cooperation for mutual benefit. He said both countries should continue supporting one another in multilateral forums, particularly the United Nations and the Non-aligned Movement. Prime minister Dung also proposed that bilateral cooperation be strengthened in economics, trade, investment, education and training, and culture. Minister Rauff Hakeem said his country wants to cooperate with Vietnam in the judicial sector, especially in law building, legal assistance and the implementation of international laws including the law on the sea.
