The stamp shows President Ho Chi Minh working in a small room in his stilt house. Others in the set show the entire stilt house and the garden and fish pond next to the house.
The stamp set highlights the elegant architecture and simple decoration of the stilt house, a unique piece of architecture in harmony with nature.
Built in April 1958 and inaugurated a month later, President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house at the Presidential Palace is where he lived and directed revolutionary activities.
