An Islamic mosque in Muong Cha, Da Phuoc Commune, An Phuoc District, An Giang Province
(VOVworld) – Representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Ho Chi Minh City’s Committee for Religious Affairs have congratulated dignitaries and people of the Cham ethnic group to mark the 1434th anniversary of the Raya Idil Adha Great Festival, a traditional holiday of Cham Islamic people.
At the Masjis Muslimin mosque in Ho Chi Minh City, the municipal Fatherland Front congratulated and gave gifts to the management boards of 16 city mosques.
This year’s 3-day Raya Idil Adha Great Festival will begin next Tuesday. On this occasion, 128 faithful Islamists from central provinces will pay pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia to fulfill their Muslim duty.
