(VOVworld) State President Truong Tan Sang visited representatives of Vietnamese ethnic groups at the Culture and Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic groups in Hanoi on Saturday. He also launched the Tree Planting campaign and listened to a report on the construction progress of the Culture and Tourism Village. He urged the project employees to exert effort to build this village into a national preservation site of cultural values of Vietnamese ethnic minority groups. Sang asked the management board to ensure a satisfactory life for ethnic minority people, who are invited to come to the village. The President confirmed that the Party and State always consider culture a spiritual foundation of society, and a driving force for socio-economic development toward national industrialization and modernization.
