(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung today urged all members of the Organizing Steering Committee of the 132^nd Inter-Parliamentary Union General Assembly (IPU) to follow plans, check out works, and contents in order to hold the event successfully.

Chairman Hung said with the role of host country, it’s necessary to prepare contents thoroughly, especially Hanoi communiqué, and focus on popularizing Vietnam’s land and people. He said the event will be a place to introduce Vietnam’s economic achievements, the role of Vietnam’s National Assembly, and Vietnam’s efforts to contribute to  world peace and development. He noted that all members of committee have to carefully prepare health services to ensure safety and security for international delegations.
