Strengthening anti-corruption inspection in 2014
(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has urged the inspectorate sector to focus on the fight against corruption and waste in such areas as land, mining, budget collection and spending, infrastructure construction, and state-owned enterprises. At an online conference on Wednesday to set out inspectors’ tasks for 2014, Dung asked for more effectiveness in corruption detection, while continuing to publicize anti-corruption laws and the study of Ho Chi Minh’s moral example. The Prime Minister requested the sector to refine its mechanisms and organization by training a contingent of dedicated, faithful and competent inspectors, who deserve the tasks entrusted by the Party, State and people.
