Speaking at the meeting, President Truong Tan Sang, who is also Head of the Committee,  said judicial reform has been responded by local and central administrations and awareness about judicial rights and law-governed state have increased. Sang urged the judicial sector to exert further efforts in 2016 because this will be the first year implementing the Resolution of the 12^th Party Congress and expanding Vietnam’s international integration. Sang said: “In face of both challenges and opportunities in the next five years, the judicial sector needs to improve its performance to contribute to national growth. It’s necessary to strengthen judicial reforms to enhance the development of a socialist law-governed state”.
