(VOVWORLD) - At least 14 civilians were killed and 15 were wounded in a drone strike conducted by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on a gathering of civilians south of the capital, Khartoum, on Wednesday.

The Sudanese army said it would continue to search the area close to RSF posts in Khartoum.
According to the Sudanese Health Ministry, fighting between the army and the RSF broke out on April 15 in Khartoum and many other areas, killing more than 3,000 people and injuring more than 6,000.
Although the Sudanese army and the RSF have reached a temporary ceasefire nationwide, conflict continues. The humanitarian situation in Sudan is worsening and aid facilities are regularly looted.
