(VOVWORLD) - At least 15 people were killed and 43 wounded when suicide bombers, said to be Boko Haram, attacked an aid distribution point in northeast Nigeria on Monday.

The first attack occurred in Mashalari village in the Konduga region, 40km from the Borno state capital of Maiduguri, as people gathered to receive donations from a non-profit organization. 12 minutes later, another bomber struck, but only the attacker died.
More than 20,000 people have been killed and 2.6 million people have fled their homes since Boko Haram launched an armed campaign in 2009 to create an Islamic state in Nigeria, Niger, Cameroon, and the Republic of Chad.
