(VOVworld) – The first ever supermarket for old people made it debut in Hanoi on Sunday, a day celebrated as Mother’s Day worldwide. Called “Supermarket for Grandparents”, the supermarket offers its customers technologies, food, medical equipment, and fashions imported from the US, Russia, and the Republic of Korea, as well as made-in-Vietnam products.

Director of the project, Nguyen Nhat Tuong, said: "This is a brand new model in Vietnam offering customers opportunities to shop online. They can view products via camera and order online without coming to the shop. We also provide our customers with home healthcare consultations and medical treatment services as well as free delivery within Hanoi and credit card purchases."
