(VOVworld) – The Government has issued a decree to supplement zoning regulations on aquaculture exploitation. The decree defines zoning rules in coastal areas.

It also states that organizations and individuals involved in offshore aquaculture exploitation in Vietnam’s waters must have fishing boat work permits. For anyone wishing to exploit aquaculture in Vietnam’s waters and other territories, contracts must be approved by the countries to whom the waters belong. All the crew members on board must have valid passports and one of them must be able to communicate in English or in the native language of the territory of the aquaculture exploitation.
