(VOVworld) – The Soc Trang provincial Association of Agent Orange /dioxin Victims has presented hundreds of gift sets worth more than 5,000 USD to 300 local AO victims to mark the Day for Vietnamese Agent Orange/Dioxin victims on August 10.

On this occasion, Vietnamese-French AO/dioxin victim Tran To Nga, a former reporter of the Vietnam News Agency, visited and presented gifts to victims at the provincial Social Protection Center. Nga collected 17,500 signatures from local organizations and individuals who supported her in a lawsuit against US chemical firms involved in the production of Agent Orange dioxin during the Vietnam War.
