(VOVworld) - The main suspect in a deadly attack on a Kuwaiti mosque in June confessed in court on Tuesday to being a member of Islamic State (IS).
The suspect tells the first hearing he joined Islamic State a day before June 26 suicide bombing that killed 26 people and wounded hundreds.

Abdulrahman Sabah Saud told the first hearing of the trial of 22 men and seven women that he had joined IS just a day before the June 26th suicide bombing which killed 26 people and wounded hundreds more. Although the public prosecutor has not released the official charge sheets, a number of defendants are charged with being in a proscribed group and taking part in the bombing. Most are accused of assisting those behind the attack.
