Syria, Iran and Russia hold trilateral talks
(VOVworld) - Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al Moualem arrived in Tehran on Tuesday to attend trilateral talks with the Iranian officials and Russian President Vladimir Putin's visiting special envoy Mikhail Bogdanov.

On Tuesday, Bogdanov held separate talks with Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on regional developments and ways to resolve the conflict in Syria politically. Amir-Abdollahian said Iran will continue consultations with other regional countries to find a "democratic approach" to the crisis in Syria. The Syrian minister will also meet with Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif on Wednesday to discuss bilateral relations and the latest developments in Syria.
