Tan Trao, known as Vietnam’s revolutionary cradle, once housed President Ho Chi Minh and Party agencies before the success of the 1945 August Revolution and in the resistance war against the French.
Addressing a ceremony to announce the master plan in Tuyen Quang on Saturday, Tran Quoc Vuong, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission, said that Tan Trao is of strategic importance to Vietnam.
“Tuyen Quang authorities need detailed plans to ensure the progress of developing Tan Trao into a national tourism site, while preserving historical relics, cultural traditions, and the ecosystem. It should become an open-door museum of history,” Mr Vuong stated.
