(VOVworld) - An opening ceremony for the Moc Chau Tea Festival 2017 took place on Friday at the Moc Chau National Tourism site, Son La province.

Themed “Steppe beauty”, the second Moc Chau Tea festival aims to introduce and promote tea products and culture, and create cooperation opportunities among businesses. It is one of several activities to celebrate the Tourism Year in North-West provinces. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Vice Chairwoman of the Moc Chau district People’s Committee, said: Tourists coming to the Tea Festival will be able to experience tea making with farmers and other special activities, such as: tea collecting competition, tea making talent competition, and a photo exhibition on colors of the highland.”

Products from 32 businesses in Son La, Phu Tho, Ha Giang, Yen Bai, and Lai Chau provinces are on display in the Tea Festival this year, which concludes on Sunday.
