Techfest 2019 takes place in Ha Long city (VOV)

Themed 'Vietnam: Globalize', Techfest 2019 attracts resources, manpower, technology and finance to support Vietnamese start-ups, connects the Vietnamese start-up ecosystem with rest of the world, shows visitors the latest technology and startup trends, and connects entrepreneurs with venture capital firms.

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam said at the opening ceremony: "The success of Vietnamese start-ups not only contributes to national economic development but also inspires authorities at all levels and the whole society. If everyone gets ready to come up with new ideas and work together to turn ideas into practice, success will definitely come to us."

The three-day event is expected to boost interaction between 250 start-ups, 200 domestic and foreign investors, and 150 corporations and startup support organizations.
