(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh on Wednesday chaired a teleconference on sustainable poverty reduction.

Most of the delegates agreed on the need to change poverty reduction policies to create favorable conditions for localities to effectively implement related programs. Deputy Prime Minister Ninh said that poverty reduction is an important strategic issue: “Available sources should be mobilized to ensure comprehensive and sustainable poverty reduction. Priority should be given to areas with high poverty rates.”
