(VOVworld) – Local authorities across Vietnam have visited and presented gifts to the poor, Agent Orange/Dioxin victims, lonely elderly, social beneficiaries, and ethnic people for the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet).

Revolutionary contributors in the northern province of Bac Giang received gifts worth 560,000 USD. In the central province of Quang Ngai, the Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam Company (Doosan Vina) and ChungAng University Hospital in the Republic of Korea sponsored rehabilitation equipment for a general hospital in Binh Son district. Can Tho city and Hau Giang province delivered Tet gifts worth 20 USD each to local disadvantaged people.
