Tet gifts presented to poor people nationwide
(VOVWORLD) - President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man on Saturday presented gifts to 100 poor workers in An Giang province on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year festival or Tet.

Mr. Man urged the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to launch a Tet program to assure poor workers with a happy Tet.
170 Tet gifts worth around 8,500 USD were given to poor workers in Dak Nong province on Friday. Government Inspector General Le Minh Khai asked Dak Nong province to take a better care for the poor at Tet.
The 2nd Workers’ Festival opened on Friday in Ho Chi Minh City. 83 stalls offer a wide range of products including clothes, home appliances and other commodities at discount from 10 to 70 percent. Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan is a worker at the district 12, Ho Chi MInh City: “The fair attracts a lot of customers. The products are sold at reasonable prices for poor workers”.
Ho Chi Minh City’s Confederation of Labor also presented 400 Tet gifts to local poor workers.
