Vu Duc Giang, Chairman of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), said, “Vietnam’s exports of garment and textile are predicted to hit 38 billion USD in 2021, but only if the COVID-19 pandemic is controlled worldwide in the first quarter. Once purchasing demand grows, the trade agreements Vietnam has signed will provide momentum to make up the industry’s supply shortage.”
