The protesters faced no clash and there is no casualty reported so far. Meanwhile, most of the farmers keep camping at some other parts in Bangkok to ask for the payment of the Thai government’s debt. The protesters then moved to State Tax office as part of the campaign to stop Thai authorities working. Protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban said he will keep the campaign’s pressure despite that protesters had stopped blockading main streets in Bangkok last week.
The same day, the State Bank of Thailand said it will pay debts next week, but the amount of the payment seem not to satisfy Thai farmers who have held demonstrations around the Thai Trade Ministry for weeks.
