Thailand wins gold medal at AFF futsal champs
(VOVWORLD) - Thailand defeated Indonesia 5-0 in the final match of the AFF HDBank Futsal Championship in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday. The defending champions won their 15th trophy in 16 years.
Vietnam won the bronze medal, crushing Myanmar 7-3, and claimed the last ticket to the 2020 Asian Futsal Championship, which will be held in Turkmenistan. This is the sixth time Vietnam has qualified for the Asian championship.
The AFF HDBank Futsal Championship was jointly sponsored by The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).
