(VOVworld) – The Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform has reviewed reports on amendments to the Criminal Code and Criminal Procedure Code. Chairing the session on Friday, President Truong Tan Sang said the draft amendments must reflect the principle of justice, equality while protecting the interests of the state and people.

He called for reference to international practices in the context of international integration. He said the draft amendments will improve Vietnam’s legal system towards better protection of human and citizen rights.
