(VOVworld)- The 11^th Party Central Committee convened its eighth conference in Hanoi on Monday. The delegates will review the decade-long implementation of the resolutions on the Strategy on Fatherland Defense, educational reform to meet the demands of industrialization and modernization in the context of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration. They will debate and comment on this year’s socio-economic performance, socio-economic development for 2014, and three-year implementation of the 11th National Party Congress’s Resolution on socio-economic development focusing on the execution of the three adopted strategic breakthroughs in association with growth model change and economic restructuring. During the event, the delegates will study the draft amendments to the 1992 Constitution, electoral regulations within the Party, the establishment of subcommittees to prepare for the 12^th National Party Congress and some other critical issues. The conference is scheduled to conclude on October 9.
